All other groups at Camp Arroyo are sponsored by non-profit corporations and the organizer is a director or employee of the corporation. Since we do not have a formal organization that can offer this sponsorship, more time is needed to make the necessary arrangements. Terese Merrell and her husband have been tryingvery hard to meet the necessary deadlines, but concluded that it cannot be accomplished for this camp season. We will not know a date for 2006 until Camp Arroyo does its summer calendar in November. Janis Foss will be joining the Merrells as a director and Kardos has generously donated her money and time to set up a non-profit corporation. They are looking for a non-profit attorney willing to answersome questions (pro bono).
