OT prayer request

For all of you out there that believe in the power of prayer..even a little,

please read the following.

A very good friend of mind, best friends at one time, is having her fate

decided today by twelve jurors. She is charged with 6 or 7 counts..

Including First Degree murder, and conspiracy to commit murder. She is said

to have paid someone to kill her husband.

We use to be neighbors a few years ago and the four of us were the best of

friends. My DH and I knew that her DH had a major drinking problem and would

get mean toward her at times, but there was never any evidence of major abuse

(broken bones, black eyes, etc) I even took her 8 hours away once to go live

with her brother.. but she came back to him (that is when the Lord spoke to

me and told me to distance myself from her). Nine mths later my husband came

home from work early and told me that Wayne was dead. I knew from the moment

he said it that she had done it.

She had a terrible childhood.. to bad to even talk about and she had just

found out that her only daughter, 13yo, had been molested a few years earlier

by her step son. Wayne refused to even talk to his son about it and pretended

it didn't happen. I am not sure, but this may have been the final blow she

could handle and just broke.

If she is found guilty she could get the death penalty ... which is common

here in NC. So I guess what I am asking is that you say a prayer that God

will have his way in this decision, no matter what it is. And pray for peace

for her, and her two children she is leaving behind.

Thank you,

Cindy

Cindy,

I am so sorry to read about your friend. I will keep her and her

family in my thoughts and prayers. You also. I can not imagine how

I would feel if this had happened in my best friends life.

Bonded by our experience, strength and hope
