Hi Lily...thanks for your post. I am going to have to try the ice

water thing when I wake up in the night. Hunger is sometimes the

reason for an attack for me, if I get hungry, the odds go sky high I

will have an attack. I have had so many attacks, and I have recorded

what I was doing, what I had ate, where in my cycle it was, etc.

There is only one thing I know for sure, there is no rhyme or

reason. It isn't always hunger that brings one on though. Your

theory on being hungry in the night is an interesting one I hadn't

thought of. Ummm....

I always thought that the pain is worse at night because I eat a

bigger meal at night (tried changing that, but it didn't stop the

pain) I came to the conclusion that I am just not able to ignore the

pain anymore is why I hurt worse at night. During the day I am busy

with kids, job, husband, school... I am constantly busy on purpose,

so that I block out the pain, but when I settle down for the night,

it is like a reckoning...I pushed away the pain, ignore it and work

inspite of it, and it always comes back to bite me in the butt

(actually abs to back) when I sit down to rest. But your thoughts on

hunger might be part of it-at least for the flares/attacks.

Good post...thanks for your information!

Hugs,
