RE: ADEK Question again...

No , I did not easy they weren't making ABDEK. We have been all put on

hold for ADEK drops. We send the ABDEK when requested--We do have the ADEK

tabs too..

ADEK Question again...

Bev...you said they are not making ABDEK. Does this replace the old

ADEK? ...meaning that there will never be ADEK liquid again? If

so, do you know why?

Our CF dietician wants us to crush ADEK tabs and mix with water and

then put them through Mikayla's tube. Okay, I have to admit, this

would be fine, but it's more of a mess than just using the liquid

ADEK like we've always done. If they are never making more ADEK

liquid, then we need to find a differnt plan rather than just making

due until we get more of what we have been using. If studies have

shown that our little rug rats are better off by supplementing vita

B, then I'm wondering why our CF dietician didn't suggest changing

to the new ABDEK?

once I figure out what we're going to do here. I wonder how your

pharm is able to get a hold of them?

No problem Donna. Just let me know if you are not interested and I'll

see if anyone else needs them. Like I said, we have 4 or 5 unopened

bottles. We are in the " care first for CF " program...our enzymes and

ADEKs are free for the first 2 yrs. Every time I refill our enzymes

they automatically mail us the ADEKs. Ellie hated the taste of them and

would spit them out immediately so we switched to the tabs. I crush

them and put them in her food and she has no clue. She does not have

the oral aversions that Mikayla has though. Good luck!

PS My son did not walk until he was 16 months...she'll do it when she's

ready
