Guest guest
I have suffered from C all my life. As a child being completely blocked up was frightening since I could then eat something and get D immediately. Well, there was no way for anything to move so I would end up on the toilet in agony struggling to pass the whole mess. Staying regular has always been very important to me. What has really helped me besides the great suggestions on SCD is having a small stepstool that I use to put my feet up on when using the toilet. It is a little Rubbermaid stepstool that is about 7 inches high and 8 inches wide. I keep it next to the toilet. Sounds silly, but it really has helped me. Now my daughter, age 5, who has already ended up in the emergency room due to constipation related stomach pain uses the footstool as well. Here is a website that explains the reasons why this helps. http://www.relfe.com/toilet_seat_constipation.html
Guest guest
Believe it or not, I do the same thing! I've got young children and they use a step stool in the bathroom. It really does help! Deb in MA " elliott_ana " wrote: I have suffered from C all my life.
