Guest guest
Heidi--I read all your messages -- even the one to the other Suzi. As for the scarves, Allie's colors are burgundy & white, but I want to thank you so much for your offer. I don't think you'll have a problem at all selling them! I'm going to look this weekend for the shoes -- wish me luck. I'm a 7.5 or 8, of course, depending on the style/type of shoe. I'm a 7.5 in the better quality shoes. I saw two brand new pairs on Ebay that I'm watching. I, too, like you don't want any spiked heels! Hey, I just turned 50 and can see me trying to totter around on those! I know my kids and their friends say I look more like 35, but I just don't want to have blisters (like you got)! Nothing worse that a darned blister on your toe on one of the most special days of one's life! I have a younger son who's still single (22). He's having a great time with the dating, clubbing scene with his friends right now. But I'm wondering if he's feeling a little down seeing his brother go through everything and getting married now. I tell my younger boy to have fun while he can -- the right girl will be there some day! He's a great boy -- and good looking if I may say so myself! I told him he could almost be a model! He lifts weights, so he's really built too. Enough about him! Ate poorly last night and didn't feel good at all this morning! Feeling better now. I just can't eat badly any more and late at night!! UGH!! I'm hoping we wear the same size shoe!! Thanks a million Heidi! On another front, hubby's aunt had pancreatic cancer and was operated on about 4 yrs. ago. Her surgeon called last week to " see if she was still around, " and was VERY surprised that she was! She was very lucky that time to live this long! She'll be 80 this month! However, the tumors returned in another organ and she's not doing well now. She just completed chemo tratments AGAIN too, but they didn't shrink at all. On the contrary, they've doubled in size. I hope everyone can say a special prayer for our Aunt Rina!! She was more like a mother to me than my own mother was!! Thanks everyone!
