This is a new one...very nice, too. Even called me at home that night to make sure I was doing okay. Boy I'm still hurting like hell though...This was a tuff tooth to pull and he put in a couple of stitches to help control the bleeding. He really shot me up big time with the novicane <spelling>..that was around 2pm in the afternoon and by 9pm I was still numb...However I'm still hurting big time. Feel like I was in a stree fight and really got a good punch in my right jaw. I went ahead and started to take antibiotics to make sure I don't get an infection. Had them anyway so why not. I think the pred is the worst of them all to cause slower healing. It takes forever for it to get out of you system..I know that from experience also. ) Gish I wish I didn't have all the experience at least not with RP or the meds. I will be sending good thoughts and prayers that you get to feeling better and soon you have that surgery coming up. What is the date for your surgery anyway? Like my PCP said, the infection specialist is trained to be an internisnt first, so he should have at least made suggestions as to where and what to do next. I am just getting ready to leave to see the urologist. I sure hope I can come home with a smile and not boo hooing. LOL It sure sounds to me like you still have an infection Sharyn in that tooth. They are always asking me about the sweating. This is a sign that it could be still there. You need to get this all over before your hip surgery. geez..... You take care girl and get well... God knows now that is home I'm stressed even more so. Not sure having him back is a good thing or not. Either that or he's loosing his mind...I mean he's like a crabby old man..
