Guest guest
Hi Everyone: Cath here. Finally got this computer straightened out. Went to Road Runner and they contacted me that virus was being sent by their home base to new subscribers and I had to go and eliminate 10.000 e-mails. Luck has it I did not have a virus so at least my computer was clean and didn't crash. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to see alot of the posts I deleted due to number so questions about eyes please send again. I saw this question about a bright light and head pain. Usually when we saw patients in the office with this complaint it was associated with migraines. People often described that it looked like they were starring right at a bright light bulb. Some people experienced only lights, but others then had the horrible headaches and nausea. People we saw were diagnosed with migraines and if it only affected the eyes without other symptoms, it was labeled ocular migraines. Can be a very scary thing to experience. Usually lasts anywhere from 10 minutes to and hour or so. If headache too, it could last for a day or so. Basically doctor explained to patients that it was like a blood vessel spasm in the occipital lobe of the brain where vision is perceived and that is why vision is included. Alot of patients would say they took an asprin and lay down and when they woke up, lights were gone. The asprin does help thin blood so it helped with blood flow and recovery, but have to be careful with stomach. Hope this helps, Cath Message is from H. If anyone has an answer for her, would you be so kind to post it... I will forward it to her. She has helped us in so many ways. thank you this horrible head painhit, with stomach pain. I thought maybe was a migrane, never have had one.But the lights were insanely bright, even with my eyes closed and covered. The Doc did a cat scan thinking I had an aneurysm rupture in my brain.. itcame back ok..
