Guest guest Posted December 1, 2002 Report Share Posted December 1, 2002 , I don't know if this is the same, but since I've been on Prednisone, I am all red around the neck area. It does go down a ways on my chest. My dr. told me that mine was from the steroids. Maybe since he is on a high dose, this is what the redness is. Call and ask the dr on Monday. It will ease your mind if that is what it is. Don't ever be afraid to ask the dr a question regarding medications or RP. Better safe. Hope this helps some. hugs ..
