Guest guest
Heidi & Chrissy, actually, what Chrissy went through is what I usually go through when I have a low bloodsugar lower than about 60. I guess I just have a low seizure threshold. I still have to be careful when my bloodsugar gets lower than 80 because I am prone to have this type of low bloodsugar also. Chrissy I recommend that you also get ahole of some stuff called Insta-glucose. It's a tube of glucose gel that the paramedics out here use, but it is also available to the general public. If you have Walgreens out there, you can find them in the diabetic section near the pharmacy. If you don't, Here is the URL where you can get some:online. http://www.nitebite.com/index1.html They come in packets of three and others can also give it to you if you are unconsious. They just squeeze it into your mouth and it is immediately absorbed. That's one of the reason's the pareamedics out here use it. I have a tube or two of them all over the house (that way they can be gotten ahold of immediately) and I also take a packet of three with me whenever I travel and I keep one tube in my purse at all times.
