Guest guest
Hi- I have been following a conversation about cleaning/soaking nebs and while I noticed that someone asked why or if it is ok to soak nebs in a white vinegar/water solution, I did not see an answer. Since that is how we clean ours, I am anxious to hear if it is wrong or no longer ok for some reason. Thanks in advance and sorry if it was answered and I missed it. Guest guest
Debi, The CFF came out last year stating that vinegar was no long an acceptable way of cleaning nebs. VInegar does not kill many germs harmful to those with CF. The CFF recommends boiling the nebs daily. You can go to www.cff.org and enter vinegar in the search box. A report called 1298t fact bookely will appear and click on it to read.
