They are now even beginning to acknowledge that some people only seem to have neurological 'symptoms'. So, get the test, if it comes back positive, then you're a done deal. If it's negative, you should still try the diet if you want to seek better health for your son. All things you listed for your son have been implicated many times, in many studies over many years, with regards to cd (or at least gluten sensitivity).
