Good Morning All!

I posted yesterday about sandy stools then it dawned on me that I had

another question to bounce off of you all.

Ok, here's the scoop. We've been on SCD for a little over four weeks.

We think that my son has leaky gut. Prior to SCD he had 10 BMs

everyday. Within the first month we saw huge improvements in that

dept. And bloating was all but gone using Caprylic acid.

Within the last week he is now passing small amounts of totally sandy

bm's about 2-3 times a day. We're still stage one and 1/2 of 2. We

weren't comfortable moving him forward because we still saw food bits

in his BMs I've been grinding more and making sure his bites are small

etc.

We never had sandy before. And he was becoming pretty formed.

And we also now have bloating again.

So here are my questions.

What is sandy stool an indication of and what should I change?

We are now starting grapefruit seed extract for the possible re

explosion of candida (cause for new bloating?) We bought the

liquid/gel from a previous posting.

I see that we do the drops into juice/water. But do you all find

that you can put the correct amount of drops just into a teaspoon of

juice and drink it quick? Suggestion?

I read somewhere that we don't mix GSE with probiotics in the same

juice. So that's why I add the L.Glutamine and probiotic that he

takes into his am and pm sippy. Then I figured we could take the GSE

in a teaspoon of juice the recomended 3 times a day. But the

directions were very intense about not taking it orally straight. So I

was affaid the potency would burn his lips or something. Or that the

gelness of the GSE wouldn't allow it to mix up in a sippy.

Thanks for you time. Great day to all.

:)Aimee
