Guest guest
Hello everyone, My name is and my daughter Emma is 23 months, PDD-NOS. I have had her on SCD for a couple weeks now and have already seen positive changes, at first major, now little miracles here and there. It is a bit challenging since Emma has a sensory issue with her teeth so she cannot chew (yet) so I have puree everything. I have a few questions... prior to SCD, she was GF/CF. Naturally I am hesitant to introduce dairy items, although I believe the homemade yogurt is a very good thing. Any opinion on the legal list of cheeses and eggs and farmer's cheese? Also, if anyone has input on powdered supplements, enzymes, and such please share. I need to order these items and most of them are in pill form so I have grind them first. I have to say that I find this diet far more nutritious for Emma than the GF/CF one. Oh, last question. I think she may have a yeast overgrowth from being on antibiotics in spite of my rebellion to keep her off her doctor talked me into it. I tried a carrot garlic mixture but the poor child's butt practically caught on fire...what a rash! Any other ideas? Thank you everyone. I so enjoy reading all the posts and learning how to heal my daughter's poor tummy.
