I deleted the email already, but wanted to encourage everyone to email or phone

Dr. Gordon regarding SCD. I easily obtained his contact info from the

Wash U web site. His email is

I didn't copy down his phone number, but you can get it from their web site if

you want to call. I simply sent a brief email thanking him for his recent study

regarding the relationship between obesity and gut flora. I told him that I was

a member of an egroup of whom all of the members use SCD to treat various

illnesses. I gave him Dr. Haas's name and book title as well as Elaine's. I

tried to be as brief as possible, but wanted to spark his interest. I asked him

to please take a few minutes of his valuable time to google Dr. Haas's name as

well as Elaine's to see if the info that he would find would be of interest and

help to him and his research. I also told him to feel free to contact me if he

wished for any additional info. I think that if he received more letters and

phone calls, it could really help get the word out on SCD...especially if some

of you more knowledgeable veterans, moderaters, and list woners could contact

him. I'm just not as scientificly literate about explaining SCD...especially in

a brief manner...to someone who is a scientist. Anyway, just my suggestion and

thought.
