There is a soda pop recipe on pecanbread.com. I've never made it, so I can't

vouch for it, but you might take a look. It's under " recipes " . Also, you could

add club soda to any scd legal juice for a sparkling drink.

butter substitue and legal soda

Hey guys -

I am wanting to make some cookies and stuff for my son for Christmas. He can't

have dairy, and soy is illegal. Anyone know of a butter substitute I can use?

Also, I have been searching the soda sections and am coming up empty handed for

one he can have on special occasions. Does anyone know of a particular brand

that is legal?

Thanks so much,

Hi Lori,

Some use coconut butter/oil. You can also use a legal shortening

(Spectrum's organic vegetable shortening is one (made from Palm oil)).

I don't know of legal soda, but use legal juice and dilute with legal

club soda instead of water. I've tried this with apple cider, Legal

pineapple juice and some of the Knudsen Just Juices - very tasty :)
