Guest guest
You need to try to eat food that are protein packed, thats where you will get the long acting engery. Also I always used slow carbs for my cabohydrates. I ate little bread and if I did it was 100% whole wheat, I use brown rice, oatmeal (which I hate). Slow carbs are the type that take longer to digest, leave you feeling full longer and even in the digestion process one can burn calories. I also ate a lot of legumes, tonight is navy bean soup. You dont have to eat 8 meals a day; I didn't. When I worked I ate breakfast at 4am every day usually a boild egg; then around 8ish I would have a slimfast or a banana then around 10ish fruit of the slimfast; lunch was always Chicken noodle soup, Progresso, I like those the best and the are 98% fat free. Soups were easier for me to digest. Most of those energy bars you see in the stores are just loaded with sugar and have very little nurtional qualities. I went to the GNC its a nutrional store and found quite a few supplemts there that helped me regain my strenth. I hope you feel better soon and dont hesitate to ask anything. It would be my pleasure.
