Guest guest
My pancreatitis seems to be progressing faster than I ever thought it would. I have run into a few hurdles that I wonder if anyone has the answers. First of all I have a Hickman, which has recently been diagnosed as being quite infected. This fall I had a morphine pump put in and I seem to have a great deal of pain break through. My pain mostly is in my bones. The pain is intense and very hard to sleep through. Trying to find a comfortable spot is hard to find. I also had a bad tick bite that took 2 stitches to get the head of the creature out. I took some penicillin for the bite, but the pain in the joints make me wonder if this isn't a part of Lymes disease. I have finally come out of denial about this disease(CP) and know that CP is a progressive, debilitating, painful disease. Is this pain and feeling so wiped out part of CP or is the pain in my joints and stomach maybe part of the Lymes or the Hickman infection? I am tired of fighting pain & nausea. I have been fighting this disease for almost 7 years on a serious basis and I am tired. Sometimes I just want to give up and lie in bed for the whole day with my blankets over my head. If anyone has any ideas I would love to here them. I don't know how much more I can take........Everyone have Happy Holidays Paget
