Guest guest
, So sorry to hear about your dilemna! Does your insurance company realize that Dr. R's MINI-gb is more than likely MUCH cheaper than having a full open gb? I checked with a Dr. here in my town who also does it, but the hospital stay is 5 days MINIMUM, so the bill would be MUCH higher (not to mention the surgeon charges $6,000)...just an idea, perhaps you could appeal to your insurance company under those circumstances! Good luck to you!!! Cindy Barker the PHAT chick in WV
Guest guest
Hi, Go to the insurance info on the mgb page.. Look under the appeals section, there is a sample letter from a lady that wanted to go out of network,, they approved her.. She did a great job.. That is what I was going to base my appeal on if I would have had to appeal. Thank goodness that I did not.. I was approved thru aetna.. Lots of luck,
