Guest guest
We'll get a great big ship, Christy, one that won't tip over from all of our laughter and tears. What a great day that will be. All of us, skinny-fying! PhillyJude
Guest guest
Now, Christy don't get ahead of yourself there....... I said I may get a tattoo, but I don't remember mentioning a REAL belly ring. Lets see how much extra skin I'm gonna have first, if someone is gonna pierce my navel, I'll want to be able to see it first!!! Haha Trudy Re: Trudy All of us skinny women with " belly rings " and " tattoos " !!!! LOL LOL Sounds like a blast to me!!! Guest guest
In a message dated 10/16/00 5:31:54 AM, Trudy writes: << and I hate waking up afterwards.. it scares the sh** out of me. but I am a good patient and that helps, I just keep thinking about tomorrow and that seems to work. >> Exactly!!! I am the same way. I am a good patient, try to never complain(well except to my long suffering husband lol), and focus on the day to day improvements. When I weighed about 256, I had a surgery to try and open a scared fallopian tube. I was cut across the " bikini line " (like I would ever wear a bikini!) anyway, I was cut about 6 inches! It was horrible!!!!! I threw up immediately upon waking up from the anesthesia. I have never been so helpless in my life. Getting in and out of bed or a chair was excruciating! When I went in for my MGB, I worried and waited for the throwing up to begin....It never did. The only thing I remember about coming out of the anesthesia, just as I was brought back to my room, Dawn J. and her awesome Husband, came in to see me. My brain was thinking all the things I wanted to say to them but my mouth just seemed to let out a string of Waa Waawww WaaaWwaaWaa......you know, like Charlie Brown's Teacher! Good thing Dawn had her MGB the day before, and she assured me that this too shall pass. Then I put off and put off getting out of bed because I was so afraid of those stomach muscles and feeling the pain......the pain never came. The only pain I had was under my left breast and it was a 3 on a scale of 1-10. Now I cant say that everyone is that lucky. A good friend of mine (she knows who she is =) had nausea and pain for about 4 days after her MGB. So I guess Trudy, it is just luck of the draw. Hope you get a winning hand! Warmly, Beth in Florida MGB 8/10/00 357/
Guest guest
Dear Flo, You are so sweet. When the Trude and Jude show comes to town, can you come and have pre-dinner with us? That'll be 10-31 if all goes well. PJ
