Guest guest
Saw the local Gastro and he has decided that all of my pain is caused by the adhesions causing a block. I tried to tell him that it is my pancreas hurting. You know...that little ugly blob inside of me that just got its head whacked off! Would a blockage cause the pancreas to hurt? It is an old familiar pain. Constant, nagging and right in the middle of motrin and vicodin tolerance. Eat fat and it REALLY hurts. I was more familiar with my symtoms prior to the whipple so I don't want to doubt my doctor. I don't want to doubt myself either. Avoid surgery is my new motto. I can't believe I was saving for some elective surgery. No more knives. Why would I still hurt? Is this just the way life is going to be?
