Guest guest
Hello everyone, I'd like to wish you all a very happy holiday and many thanks for all the help and support you have all given me in this, my second year as a diagnosed CP sufferer. What would I do without you all? I had my ERCP stent removed yesterday. No problems BUT....the gastro had ordered a review of all my duodenal biopsies over the years, including the one he did some weeks ago when I had my EUS. You may remember that I was diagnosed coeliac in 1988 but this has been thrown into doubt by the definite CP diagnosis last year. The CP symptoms are the ones going back to childhood. However, the histological report on my recent biopsies, and the review of the ones I've had before (1988, 1989, 1993, 2002)do seem to indicate that I may have coeliac disease as well as CP. I will have to have a full discussion with my gastro (yesterday he was very busy with gastroscopies etc. and was not actually holding a clinic) and my pancreas specialist. The saga continues and there's still an element of doubt! Happy Christmas to you all. With very warm wishes, Fliss (UK)
