I saw Dr. yesterday. He told me that the doc in cicni was not

convinced that my pain is pancreatic and does not think the total

with ict would do any good. Dr. ADams strongly disagrees and is

meeting with the head of the Path dept at MUSC I think he said

today. The pathologist who originally read my slides is a woman I

know and she is meticulous and does excellent work. Maybe the

pathologist in Cinci should take another look,or have a different

pathologist look at those.

Anyway, he has also ordered an mrcp to be done asap. Tomorrow

morning, hows that for fast. I will see him in clinic again next

week to discuss all this again. We talked about going elsewhere.

He said the Cinci has the best record of recovery so far and

wondered if they were up and runnin at the University of FL in

Miami. I guess he must think they are starting it there soon. I

dont know if they do or dont. Dr. still insists that this is

the procedure I need, this is my cure. He mentioned my weight, but

Ikind of fudged it off. The last thing I want is another peg. I am

still so depressed I cant even remember the last time I laughed,

really laughed.

I certainly hope and pray that hurricane frances will stay clear

from all land but I dont think that will happen. I pray for anybody

who might be in her path.

Anyway I hope everybody is doing ok and not having too much pain.

Warmly,

Chrissy
