Kimber,

I am probably the worst one in the group for going off on tangents, so you

surely have no reason to apologize. Besides, I, personally love hearing about

little tidbits of what's going on in the lives of my online friends.

Unfortunately, I don't always have time to read all the msgs and often have to

just scan and delete a lot of the messages. If I had the energy, I could easily

spend the entire day doing nothing but reading the messages and corresponding

with my many online friends! It's kind of funny that you can get so attached

and feel so bonded to people you've never seen or even heard their voice!

I hired a young girl (23 - it's funny because I initially told my hubby I was

going to get the 'little girl' from our church that helped with the wedding to

help me out in the house - I then realized that the term 'little girl' was a

little silly for a young woman that is a little older than my own daughter and

has a child of her own! I just can't think of people that are around my kids'

ages as being grown-ups, even though Nikki is now married!) there I go on a

tangent! Anyway, I have hired her to come to the house one day a week to help

me get my house back in order. We really don't have the extra money, but things

have gotten so disorganized at the house that I just couldn't stand it any more!

I'm going to have her come one day a week while her daughter is in kindegarten

and slowly but surely we can get my house back to the way I like it! She got my

front bathroom and guest bedroom looking wonderful in the 4 hours she was here

today. I guess it doesn't take much to excite me these days, but I am really

excited to know I have a plan for getting my house back the way I like it! My

mom is wonderful and she would spend every day, all day doing things in the

house for me if I would let her, but I just can't let her do that! She does so

much for me already and I just feel like I would be taking advantage of her.

Having come once a week to help me is a win-win situation for both of us.

She needs extra money for Christmas and I need the help. I told her it would

probably take her coming once a week for at least two months for me to get the

house back to the way I like it to be. After that, I'll probably just have her

come a couple of times a month to do the deep cleaning.

Well, I've probably bored everyone to tears with my silly stories and such.
