Newbie here.(from Wa state)...son is getting fitted for his Hanger helmet soon.

I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My name is and my son

has plagiocephaly, which was caused from his torticollis. 's been in

PT for his tort for the last few months and is doing wonderfully with it. I

took him to Seattle Children's Hospital last week to have a consult on the need

for a helmet. has mild/moderate plagiocephaly, so we opted to go with the

helmet therapy. I didnt' care for the kind of helmet that Childrens has, so I

asked for a referal to the Hanger helmet Orthotist in Tacoma. We have his appt

for the 1st step in this process on April 12th. Is anyone else just starting

out in the journey too? If anyone has any info I should know about before the

appt, please let me know.
