Guest guest
Hello! Well, my dog woke up limping this morning, so I took her into the vet and left her for the day. They ended up anesthetizing her and opening a spot between her "toes" on the right front paw. So now, $400 later, she has a sutured paw, covered in a bandage, that I have to "wrap" in an empty i.v. bag with a fabric bandage around it, for her to go outside in. She also has a cone around her head, so she's freaked out and keeps banging into things. She went into the basement and I keep hearing banging as she hits the cone on things down there, trying to get to her corner where she likes to sleep, behind the treadmill. My partner is up at her mom's for the weekend, because we are moving her from the nursing home to assisted living, and I've got a horrific cold. I know I sound like I'm complaining, but I keep breaking out in hysterical laughter, which isn't helping my dog's self esteem right now! It's all a little much. I had to hold her cone up while she walked up the stairs from the backyard, because she kept hitting it and then would stop and just stare straight ahead!! Have a good night everyone!
