Im home from the Transplant evaluation

Hey There

I'm back from my transpnat eval.I was there for almost 2 weeks ! ! ! My case

went befiore the TX board today (Thursday). I hope to God they accept me.

Without it they said I won't last 2 years...or so they say....lol

I absolutetly love the whole team though.They are also thinking about a

Pancrease TX too b/c of some extra stuff dealing with that. Unfortunately

though,

one of the docs was sick when I saw him last week. I ended up with a sore

throat 2 days later...ughhhhhhhhh

So I'm headed back in on Monday (Doctor in NC doesn't see patients on

Friday....)

They did give me a dose of Zosyn in Florida and Levaquin to tide me over

until my retard of a doc can see me here. My poor nose is running so much it

gets

stuck on my 02 cannula and makes my nose raw...=(

Ever tried to sneeze with oxygen up your nose...its kinda messy.

I'm still realing from the total differences in results of my tests.I mean

how do you miss a hole in the heart? I had an acho and bubble study at UNC

?Also, how do you miss only 25% of the air I breathe in goes to the Rt lung?

There's a bunch of stuff.Blood flow problems, Pulmo hypertension,collapsed

airways,

yada yada yada

Anyways...I'll write late about the whole thing.I totally recommend them to

everyone.

Say a prayer for me tonight ....I really need these lungs.
