Guest guest
Hi Debbie - Depending on the list you can find one food as high in someplaces and medium in another. Have you tried the Phenol Assist from Kirkmans? [there is another phenol enzyme I am not familiar with, No Phenol?] Anyways, salicyates are a form of phenol, I believe, and we definitely knocked something loose w/my son when we started him on the Phenol Assist. You'll still probably be looking to reduce phenol intake where possible, but if you've got a kid that's already SCD you might be able to see some gains by introducing phenol enzymes and gradually cutting down the amount he takes in. Good luck! brian low salicylate diet? Does anyone have a list of low salicylate/scd foods? I tried researching this on the internet and I got conflicting information. My son has been on scd for 14 months and I'm now convinced that he has a salicylate intolerance because he's never been able to tolerate fruits or vegetables. Thanks, Debbie 5 yr-old son UC ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ 8:00? 8:25? 8:40? Find a flick in no time with the Yahoo!
