We share the good and the bad times in our lives and we welcome any new members with open arms because we've all been new to the group at some point in time. I was dx with RP in Feb. 2000, but had symptoms long before that. One doctor even said this was all in my head and sent me to a shrink. Since I trusted the doctor I just kept right on going for 5 years till my symptoms became so severe that I finally insisted on seeing a hematologist. He knew right a way that something wasn't right and got me in to see a rheumatologist. I've been on Metho now for 15 months and it has helped me. I also take a maintence dose of pred.
