Guest guest
Afternoon all, I have an off the pancreas question to ask. I know we have a few nurses on board that might be able to help. I have a friend who is 40 1/2 years old. She is 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. Her HCG (?) has started going down instead of doubling, but not by much. She has had 3 miscarriages in the past, but not all in a row. They thought that might be happening to her now. She went for a regular sono today in the doctors office and the doctor said all looked good, but is sending her to radiology for a HIGH TECH sono tomorrow. Questions: If the hormone goes down, isn't that a bad thing? If they see all is good on a in office sono, why would they send her for a HIGH TECH sono? Would they hear a heartbeat this soon? I am worried for her and don't know any other medical people to ask. Thanks for letting me ask something different. Sandy
Guest guest
Sandy, the only part of this question I can answer is that they were able to hear my daughter's heartbeat at 6 weeks.
