Guest guest
Deanna, After hearing your description of what's been going on in your life lately, I can understand why circumstances have kept you too busy to post here. Heavens, girl, you've had a lot of stressful things going on. I'm sure the whole situation with your son has been very frustrating and heart wrenching. It's so difficult for a mother to watch her son self destruct like that. It's very sad that he refuses to accept the many attempts to help him, and has chosen such a self destructive path by defying all authority and reason. You need to remember, Deanna, that you have done all you possibly could to help him, and that his behavior is not of your doing. He's made his own choices, and as foolish and harmful as they are, they are his to deal with and his to live with. Don't let this bring you down......now is the time to think of yourself and the positive things you can do for yourself. The stress of all of this must have been tremendous, and I just hope your health can remain stable. That kind of stress would have kicked me in the butt and thrown me flat! I'm glad you had the time to get back here and let us know what you were doing, and it's good for you that you're going to take a break for a while from your schooling.......sometimes that's really necessary to get one's life back on path. Take good care of yourself, and don't be a stranger! With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina Rep.
