I'm so far behind and I apologize. Please feel free to just jump right in with any questions or imput or sharing your information with us. This is a great support group and they are a wealth of knowledge. Please don't be afraid to ask any question, we all learn by your questions. Let us know a little about yourself, you might be a neighbor of someone in the group. I live in Calif, am 51, married with 3 daughters. I was diagnosed in 1999, but had flares prior. I am currently doing well. The main thing I believe with RP is to find the right doctors and the right medications that work for you. Once this is done, RP can be controlled. We are all different and it takes different medications for each of us. I think Prednisone is a drug we all have been on at one time or the other. Remember to stop the flare as soon as possible. With each flare, damage can be done. I am looking forward to getting to know each one of you, so please just post away.
