Guest guest
Call For Art “One Day at a Time: Living with Cystic Fibrosis” Call for Art Are you a visual artist? Do you have an experience of living with CF that you wish to express through your art? Do you draw/paint/sculpt/sew/etch or photograph? Then we are looking for you! CFRI and Breathing Room have joined in collaboration to hold a very special art exhibit at the 2004 CFRI educational conference. The title of the exhibit will be “One Day at a Time: Living with Cystic Fibrosis” and will feature artwork by adults and children with CF, family members, friends and caregivers. We are looking for artwork in various media including: Pen and Ink, Charcoal, Pastel (oil and soft), Paint (watercolor, acrylic or oil), Collage/paper mosaic, Textile art, Photography, Etching, Ceramic, Mosaic, Polymer Clay, and Glass. We are very excited to view your work and know that the selection process will be difficult. Remember that we will have limited space so not all entries will be able to be exhibited. We will select entries to give as broad a range of experiences as possible about living with CF from the perspective of one who has it as well as those that live with, care for and know people with CF. All artwork selected will be exhibited August 6-8, with a special reception the evening of August 6, 2004 at the Sofitel Hotel, in Redwood Shores, CA. We have four categories for entry: A: Children with CF, their siblings and friends (under the age of 18) B: Adults with CF (18 and older) C: Family members, significant others and friends ( 18 and older) D: People who are caregivers, medical practitioners, and counselors. All Entries Must be postmarked by May 1, 2004 For an application, please see www.thebreathingroom.org/st/st_mc01_artapp or call Catharine et at: cmartinet@...
