Guest guest
Hello friends, It's quarter to midnite Vegas time and I haven't decided if I'm gonna try and catch a few hours sleep or pull an allnighter. My hearing is at 8:15AM...I mean JEEZ couldn't they have picked and EARLIER time? (lol) Yesterday I spoke to the attorney from Binder and Binder who works the cases in this part of the country (he'll be flying in from Santa Ana CA)and he tells me that we have a good judge. He said he was slightly concerned about the lack of certain medical tests, I'm assuming he would have wanted to see more CT scans and ultrasounds, but those have doubtfully changed since the last time I had those done(2000 when i was diagnosed diabetic). I managed to find my 97 CT report in which the pancreatitis was now a " chronic " condition, as well as another similar interpretation in writing from another doctor. Add that to the VERY detailed, comprehensive impairment questionaire that my pain mgmt doctor (who i've seen monthly since 10/2000) filled out and submitted for me, things are " looking positive " . By the way does anyone know when and how they notify you with their decision? And how long does it take to get your back benefits? How long until you start getting your monthly checks? I've heard that this part of the process can take an unduly long time. Well I hope to have some VERY good news and I can't wait to get to work on my written pancreatitis experience, and it's profound effects upon my life. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS, CARE AND COMPASSION... it makes the pain and the stress a little easier to deal with And that, to me, is a divine blessing. Peace N love, in Vegas
