Just a word about Medicare. You will have six months after you've officially

gone on the Medicare roll to apply for Part B insurance. If you don't apply for

the additional insurance within that 6 month time frame, it will cost you a lot

more to do it later. The Part B insurance would be to cover doctor's

appointment's, pharmacy, etc. I'm in the process now of collecting information

from several different resources to find the best deal for me. Humana has an

excellent policy, and AARP is sending me info on their plans, too.

I imagine Medicare will inform you of this when they send you your ID card

and all the other information, but I just though I'd give you a head's up about

that, so you could start looking at all the different options.
