Guest guest
Good afternoon, I have to admit this seems extremely daunting! I have a son who was diagnosed with Crohn's last year. I read the book (Breaking the Vicious Cycle) a year ago and simply put it away because I was on information overload. Unfortunately, I am now desperate! The great news is my 10 year old has " signed " on and is ready to do anything. I am slightly confused with how to begin and what should or should be included in the intro diet. I've read the website and then realized that maybe he shouldn't have cheddar cheese during the intro diet. He wants snacks - but there doesn't seem to be much he can have as far as snacks go (at least for a couple of days). Does anyone have any ideas on what I can give him for snacks? He's fine with scrambled eggs, hamburger patties and jello. But he likes an afternoon snack and he has to have some type of portable snack for school Thanks for any help you can offer!
