Guest guest
Hey , Several of you have asked about the packets and how long it takes to get them approved. I am 5 weeks post op and thought I would tell you how it worked for me. (keep in mind it may all depend on how backed up Dr R.'s schedule is. I hand carried my packet ( that was completely in order and I was self pay) to clinic on Tuesday the 12th of September. I had already been to clinic several months earlier for information and saw Dr R. I know if I took it to clinic that I could make sure it got in the right hands. Barbara took my packet and I had not been on any medicines except for blood pressure ( no aspirin or motrin etc). I left her the info and she said Dr. R will have to approve it. I got an email on Wednesday the next day saying I was approved and the date was set or Thursday the 21st. one week and one day later. I did have the surgery at the Center and what a nice place and great care I got from the nurses and Dr R. He spent a long time talking to my family and all went well with my surgery. Hope this helps Glenda 9/21/00 lost 36 lbs.
