Guest guest
Laurie - YOu did a great job in describing acute vs. chronic. I sitll have one GI who says I am not chronic, but my main GI says I am. Actually, I did see my local GI yesterday and I saw he coded my paperwork with both codes, so that is a step forward. I am in the middle of an attack - yuck! I had so hoped I could stay healthy until my whipple Nov 24. So far, the pain isn't that great, so I am staying home, drinking Smart Water and Vitamin Water and trying to ride it out. My enzymes still elevate but they aren't too terribly high right now amylase is 1250 and lypase is 450 (sometimes I go to the 8000s). Positive thougths my way would help now. thanks. Guest guest
Cecelia, you got my positive thoughts that this attack is only a minor one and goes away soon. Guest guest
Cecilia, I know this is a couple of days late, but I truly hope that you are feeling better soon. I too, have had a couple of rough days. I've needed to take more pain meds than usual. I hope my insides settle down soon. Am I right, that you are going to Dr. Lehman for a whipple procedure in November? Sorry if I am wrong, my brain is more fuzzy than normal with the extra pain meds I'm taking. Take care Kris
