Dear Oswald,

If the pain is in the center of your stomache just under your

breastbone, it probably is pancreatitis. Doctors so not test for this

unless they become suspicious. It is a burning pain that shoots

straight through to your back. They need to run an amylase & lipase

blood count. If your numbers are not up does'nt mean you don't have

it. It is also possible to have an enlarged liver, but if it is not

enlarged at the time they test you it will not show up. I hope this

may be helpful.
