Guest guest
i do think you're great and i love your posts :-) ....but ... i think you and some of the others are being a little hard on michelle. i don't think she was an LT follower (although she may be one after all of this) and i don't think her original post was hysterical or irrational. the reality is, many of us, especially recent post-ops and those who have had major health problems like michelle, are at least a little bit right now wondering if we had made some ghastly mistake and are going to pay a heavy penalty down the road. i don't THINK that's true, but i can't help but worry a little. in that atmosphere, i think we should be as open as possible and have as much information as possible available, not shut down one of the primary sources of information available to all of us. sure dr. rutledge can do whatever he wants with the list, but that doesn't mean that it is the right thing to do, or the smart thing, in terms of how it will affect people. and in my opinion, he does owe us at least an explanation...after all, that list is made up of all of us, our fears, hopes, celebrations, etc., and i think it is the right thing to do to tell us if it is no longer going to function as that. let me note that i can understand it if he has been given legal advice that he shouldn't have the list open, and i certainly can understand not wanting to deal with the hassle, but then maybe he should just close the list and let somebody else start it and moderate so that he doens't have any liability. as it stands, the list has little use to me, and i probably just wouldn't use it. maybe that's no big loss, but it would be unfortunate if many people felt that way. just my two cents... anna --- wrote: > As I sit here in tears I am speachless...no matter > what I said, I did not DESERVE that. > > I was not frieking out about the access being gone. > OTHER people were.
