Guest guest Posted January 20, 2007 Report Share Posted January 20, 2007 I personally think that one of the reasons " french cut " green beans (or string beans) were recommended by Elaine is that for that particular cut (that you can buy frozen), they start with a more slender, less mature bean.... so the inner seeds will be much smaller and softer. You can also find " petite " whole green beans in the freezer section..... and cut them up yourself into whatever size your child will readily eat.
