My gastro and PCP expressed their concern about it or were they just being overcautious? Marivic, Are you presently on daily narcotic medication? I am, and I have had to go through extensive surgical clearances from my primary doctor/GI whenever I have to have sedation for surgery. The reason for his caution is NOT because of a fear of a pancreatitis attack, but because my body is accustomed to the narcotics, and it requires a registered anestheseologist to properly dose me for optimal sedation. Could it be this that they are worried about? With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth Bluffton, SC South Carolina State Rep.
