Dear Rupesh,

Your message really knocked me off my feet......it is so kind of you to say what

you have. You've brightened my whole day.

All I do is try to help the others with their problems. I remember my own fears

and questions when I first began with this dreadful condition, and how frantic I

was to find answers. I was alone with this pancreatitis, this horrible, painful

condition, and there was no one else around me who knew anything about it.

I'm sure you felt the same. We all felt the same until we found this website.

The members here helped me a lot. Kaye was the first person in the group to

respond to my questions, she is still here and is a dear friend.

I've come to feel that everyone here is a friend.....we all share a common bond

with our disease and I can't resist the desire to help my friends. That is just

my

nature and it is the way I will always be. I've gained immeasurable strength

from my participation with these people, these friends, most whom I've never

seen. As long as I'm able, I will be here to help and to share my experiences,

hoping that others can learn from this.

It is not so much what I do, it is what EVERYONE does, collectively, that

makes such a difference. You've singled me out.........but it is everyone

together that deserves kind words and praise. Thank you just the same.
