Anyone know a GI Specialist in the Phoenix, AZ area who supports SCD?

Hi Everyone,

I'm 34 and looking for a good-gentle GI Specialist in Phoenix Metro. I

have been dealing with GI digestive issues for at about 12 years now,

more bloating and const.. I have been dairy,nut,grain and yeast free

and find following the specific-carbohydrates helps me.

A Colon-Rectal Surgeon in Phoenix who is willing to do colonoscopy

next week but said i could also wait for a Gastroenterologist to do an

Endoscopy and Colonoscopy on the same day. He is not familiar with SCD

but said he will read about it.

Anyone know of any recommended GI Specialists in Phoenix Metro?

Is it better to go to a Gastroenterologist or Colon-Rectal Surgeon for

a Colonoscopy? Has anyone experienced a Colonoscopy and Endoscopy on

the same day? Sounds like it would be uncomfortable with lots of

gas/bloat afterwards. But, maybe it would be better to get both done

and over with. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
