I moved

Well it's done, my husband and I sold our house and have moved about

5 blocks away. He works at the same hospital that I used to and they

would not let him have the day off, so YES folks I had to do it

myself with movers of course. I packed about 90% of the stuff myself

and unpacked about 90% myself. What a job.

I think some how between or before my trip to San Fransisco and now

I have managed to pull out my intrathcal pump, my pain levels have

gotten so severe that it is taking 125% more Actiq to keep things

under control, I started waking up screaming again in August a few

weeks before our trip, silly me I thought new surroundings and

different area would make things different, it's called denial and I

am the Queen of it.

I went and saw my PMD right after we got home. I told him how I was

waking up yelling again, and he said " What do you want from me, a

sleeping pill " My response was NO, you said you could program this

thing so I can get more at different intervals can you do that " ? He

set it he said to give more after midnight but I can't tell any

difference I still wake up feeling like night of the living dead. I

know I have terrible arthritis in my back, because it cause problems

with having the pump put in, I made my choice I wanted to get moved

before I deal with this thing, I had SOOO many complications with

having it done, that I at least need to be able to find the plates

and silverware before I go through this again, for any of you out

there thinking about having one implanted, it is still worth it, I

would have never been able to do the things I have done in the last

year without it.
