Giovanni re doctors & pain spec.

Well, Giovanni, you are not alone......I just got dropped from my

orthropedic surgeon, (not that he can do anything for me anyway) but

I

went for a second opinion re whether my DISH disease was compressing

my esophagus & he said no and suggested I see a pain management

dude! So after getting the " book of rules " before the appointment,

no long term narcotics & a bunch of stuff that I have already tried,

acupuncture, epidural nerve blocks, steroids, biofeedback, Tens etc.

I decided to xx't the appointment! I had also asked the orthropedic

doc for a prescription for a home lumbar traction unit, which he

would not write???? and then yesterday I got a letter, certified the

receipt reply bit, & cannot figure out why? What's with these

doctors? Believe me I did write a nice response, courteous, but to

the

point! I believe these doctors get a kickback for their referrals to

the pain management docs! These docs should have to be in some of our

bodies for just

one day!!! Just had to share this with my friends. Disgusted, but

enjoying my new Airedale Rescue dog, who loves my old cats! Peace &
