Guest guest
We'll definitely get the salsa out, both parents love it so, so should he! Yes, we know not to " push " him, but as you all have been through as well..we're just like, " kid...you don't know how 'lucky' you are to be able to eat this stuff..and how much it will help you " . Mom (we) have tried fruit, spaghetti, french toast, etc. w/ the maxed out calorie/fat way of making each. We offer it to him multiple times. I think it's a game...he puts it in his mouth, spits it out...throws it..then laughs (we don't laugh back). When making scrambled eggs over the holidays the in laws were like, " is that whole cream, butter, and peanut oil for his eggs? " ..yep...sure is. French fries are seeming to work too (maybe the salt suggested here). Glad to see someone else mention they still " feed " their child, we've been so focused on making sure he gets as much food in him we really haven't let him feed himself as we maybe could have. We'll just be patient, he doesn't " act hungry " , so probably just " first time parents/coupled w/ CF parents " ...we have nothing to really benchmark him against. Thanks for everyone's input...greatly appreciated.
