Carol, this is a good question. I am sending this reply to both groups

because they are two different issues.

The Flower and Card/ Teddy Bear/Book money comes from the support group. It

is totally separate from the Foundation. These gifts come from the heart.

and Heidi have been handling this all along. They send flowers for

members who have lost a love one or if we lose a member. We send teddy

bears/ books/ etc for members who are in the hospital. They will glady take

any donations that we wish to send. Right now they are pretty well stocked

up. This donation is not tax deductable, it comes straight from the heart.

We must remember the support group and the Foundation are not realated at

all. They are two separate groups.

Any one wishing to contribute to this, should send the money to Heidi or

with a note what it is for.

Now to the Foundation membership donations ($15) and just donations that you

wish to make or any donations " in honor of " , should be made out to " RP

Foundation " and mailed to me. These donation are tax deductable because we

are a non profit organization. If you make a donation " in honor of " it will

be posted on the Foundations web site. www. polychondritis.org. You may go

and look at the site any time.

Right now we are doing a fund raiser by doing exercising and adding up our

change for 3 months. Marilyn is keeping track of it, but the money should be

sent to Heidi.

Heidi is the Treasurer of the Foundation and we couldn't ask for any one

better to keep track of our money.

If anyone needs addresses, I believe they are on the Web site, if not I will

be glad to give you all the addresses you need. LOL
