Guest guest
Thanks , I know this because the same happens to me with normal A & L Levels. I have CP and SOD. As I explained in a post back to Jerry, it was something else that was said that I was interested in. I found the post (thanks to you) and what I was interested in was " I was under the belief that after three years of CP, the pancreas no longer functions normally and does not produce normal levels of enzymes. " I wanted to know where he heard this from. Was it from his doctor? I was to understand the level of damage done to the pancreas was what made it work, or not, and to what extent, not just because someone had CP for any certain length of time. I was under the impression that many people with CP could still have elevated A & L levels. Levels just depended on the damage already done to the organ from previous attacks. What I was reading....and probably wrong at that....was that 3 years of CP meant a certainty of something. As I explained to Jerry, not having to be to the ER for more than 3 years has me wondering whets in store for me. Pain daily but nothing the pain pills can't compensate for have me wondering how long this " honeymoon period " with my pancreas will really last. I obviously read this wrong and it's not the first time. Sorry about that. And I am in Fairfield, Ca. Where are you? Sandy/Ca
