Guest guest
Hi all, I haven't written in awhile. I had a jejunostomy feeding tube placed the end of October. It was this big thing with three ports sticking out like a Christmas tree from my skin. 10 days later I was back in the ER having a different one put in. This one is working better, but I get extremely nauseated with the feedings. My GI doc says this is normal. Do any of you who have feeding tubes have this same problem? I have to feed every 2 hours. It is really hard. Also, my SSD claim was denied the first time, but now I have an attorney doing the appeal. They called today and said that SS wants a psych evaluation. Have any of you been through this? What should I expect? I assume I need to " fail " to have this go in my favor??? Any information would be greatly appreciated. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. T. (Ohio)
